„Ich wurde 1965 in Mexiko geboren, bin jedoch als Doppelstaatler auch Deutscher.

1987 absolvierte ich meine Lehre als Goldschmied, auf der Goldschmiede- und Uhrmacherschule in Pforzheim. Danach war ich über 25 Jahren als Goldschmied in Mexiko tätig.

Nun arbeite ich als Kunstmaler. Seit  zwei Jahren (2016-2017) besuche ich die Kunstakademie “San Lucas”, in Cuernavaca und studiere auch bei Magda Torres Gurza, einer sehr renommierten Hyperrealismus – Ölmalerin, in Cuernavaca.

Ich arbeite mit verschiedenen Techniken, tendiere jedoch mehr zum Abstrakten.

Aktuell bin ich Finalist beim „Meneghetti International Art Prize.“

René Cheng was born in Mexico 1965. He studied as a goldsmith in Germany and worked in that profession for over 25 years. René is also an author (book “Canalizando a los ángeles”) and Reiki master. Since creativity is abundant, he started painting since 2016 through the San Lucas academy in Cuernavaca, using various techniques in oil paintings. He also attends different painting courses with renown painters, such as Magda Torres Gurza. Even though he enjoys all styles, he tends to paint  abstracts in joyful Colors. He has been nominated finalist at the prestigious Menenghetti International Art Award 2017.

René Cheng nació en México en 1965. Estudió orfebrería en Alemania y trabajó en esa profesión durante más de 25 años. René también es autor (del libro “Canalizando a los ángeles”) y maestro Reiki. Como la creatividad es abundante y una necesidad de expresión, comenzó a pintar desde 2016 a través de la academia de San Lucas, en Cuernavaca, usando varias técnicas en pinturas al óleo. También asiste a diferentes cursos de pintura con pintores reconocidos, como Magda Torres Gurza. A pesar de que disfruta de todos los estilos, tiende a desarrollar su estilo en abstractos con colores alegres. Ha sido nominado finalista en el prestigioso Premio Internacional de Arte Menenghetti 2017.
